Every winter for baseball our Varsity team makes and sells pies to raise money for Florida. We go to Florida for spring break as a getaway from the cold weather to play some baseball before the season starts. Also our whole team and the Junior Varsity team participate in the Pancake breakfast during the Maple Syrup Festival. It is volunteer work and counts as community service hours. While we serve, make the pancakes, sausages, and syrup we also have fun running back and forth between serving and making the pancakes. At the end of our shifts we even get free all you can eat pancakes and sausages.

Science Club annually organizes a field day to plant trees in a designated area. This year we planted trees next to the little league baseball fields. Over the course of four hours we planted around 250 hardwood trees and 200 spruce trees. It was a fun time with all the people in the club and we helped the environment.
